Spence Collection Artist Panel & Pizza Party at Laguna Art Museum

Join the Laguna Art Museum on Saturday, April 15 at 6 p.m. for a discussion on the artworks donated by Stuart Spence and Judith Vida-Spence to Laguna Art Museum. Co-moderated by artist, writer, and professor, Tom Lawson, and LAM’s Curatorial Fellow, Rochelle Steiner, this panel will include artists whose work is currently on view at the museum.
Together, they will engage in discussion about the artistic community that evolved in Southern California in the late 1980s and 1990s; their wide-ranging artistic approaches that are both conceptual and personal; and the critical support of the Spences and others at that time. Megan Hilty at Irvine Barclay Theatre

Megan Hilty, the beloved star of stage and screen will be performing at Irvine Barclay Theatre on Thursday, April 20, at 8 p.m.
Hilty is known worldwide as the seasoned triple-threat, Ivy Lynn, in the NBC hit Smash. She wowed audiences with her portrayal of Glinda in Wicked, and was the first to perform the role of Doralee Rhodes in Broadway’s 9 to 5: The Musical. Megan received a Tony Award nomination for her performance as Brooke Ashton in the delightful comedy, Noises Off.
Most recently, she starred as Patsy Cline in Lifetime’s original movie Patsy & Loretta, earning a Critics Choice Award nomination for her performance.
Enjoy an intimate evening with this powerhouse singer as she brings her outstanding vocal range and sparkling sense of humor to a show that features musical theater favorites from throughout Hilty’s famed career.
